Barcelona
We spent from December 14 until December 18, 2019 in Barcelona. We toured the city via the Hop-On-Hop_Off bus. We also, visited the Picasso Museum, Monserrat and the Oller del Was winery. We were able to take several breaks to sample the Barcelona cuisine.
While in Barcelona we stayed at the Hotel 1898 on La Rambla. We highly recommend this facility. The folks at the front desk took care of all of needs., including answering our unending questions.
They arranged tickets for the tour bus and the Picasso Museum. They also arranged to have a bottle of Champaign waiting in our room on Chris' birthday.
Hop-On-Hop-Off Bus
The main location of the Hop-On-Hop-Off tour bus was at the Place Catalunya which was a short walk from our hotel.
Sagrada Familia
This basilica was designed by Antoni Gaudi. Groundbreaking was March 19, 1882. It was due to be completed in 2026 but due to Covid-19 it has been indefinitely delayed.
