Bryce Canyon National Park
It had been 19 years since our last visit to this amazing park. The immediate change that we noticed was the build-up of commercial enterprises near the park entrance.
The park is known for its rock formations called "hoodoos". We still have the brochure from Sept, 26, 1999. We compared that to the one we received during our May 22, 2018 visit. The 99 brochure states that the hoodoos are formed by erosion from the rushing waters of the Paria River and its tributaries. The 2018 brochure states the weathering and erosion shape the formations with water playing a minor role.
