Colorado Color
The peak for autumn colors in Colorado is usually mid September, so we were concerned that by leaving Texas on September 24th we would be too late. Due to this year's weather, however, the color change was late.
Our first hint that we were in for a cornucopia of color was as we neared Monarch pass. The photo at left was taken through the windshield east of the pass.
