Montserrat

We visited Monserrat on December 15, 2019.

Montserrat means saw or serrated.  As can be seen in the above photo this series of mountain peaks resembles the serrated edge of a hand saw.

High up on the mountain range is the Montserrat Monastery.  

The monastery is the home of theVirgin of Montserrat (statue of Madonna and Child)
