Newman Bottom

In our opinion, late March through April is the best time of the year in central Texas. The temperatures are moderate and the wildflowers are in bloom. We took a day trip to the Brenham area to take our wildflower images. All of the photos were taken in the Newman Bottom area of the Nails Creek Unit of Lake Somerville State Park.
