U.S. Virgin Islands
On December 20, 2010 we visited the Virgin Islands. Our cruise ship docked at St. Thomas. We then boarded a tour boat for the 45 minute ride to St. John. The tour boat took us to Cruz Bay, the headquarters of the Virgin Islands National Park. Over one half of the island of St. John is national park land. From the visitor center, we took a bus tour of St. John.
Upon our return to St. Thomas we had lunch and took in some of the architectural sites of the town of Charlotte Amalie.
